Understanding the Bail Bonds Process

How Does The Bail Process Work?

Bailing someone out of jail is an easier process than you may think.

•    You place a call to us at 305-597-4595

•    We find all the information on the defendant and give you a free quote.
•    If you choose to bail them out, we can either send you the forms located HERE by fax or e-mail or meet you in person.

Our agents are always at the South Florida jails, once we give them the OK, they will turn in the necessary paperwork.

Posting Bail – How Collateral Works

When the person is arrested for a criminal charge, they may be held for trial unless that person facilitates the emitted bail amount issued by the Court, as security.

When the person is released on bail, they promise to appear in court at the designated time and place. If the person is released on bail fails to appear in court on their designated appearance date, the bail bond becomes payable and is forfeited as a penalty.

For this reason a bond usually requires some type of collateral such as cash, title to real property or other types of security. However, in most cases collateral is not necessary if qualified.
